Product Details:

RACOT (Synthetic Protective Coating):
It is a Synthetic Coating to preserve the cleaning surfaces of metallic parts of any shape or PC Boards surface from atmospheric oxidation and other contamination. It can be applied by spraying, dipping or brushing.

APPLICATION:
RACOT is applied by spraying, dipping or brushing to a circuit board which has been cleaned and water-rinsed.
DRYING :
RACOT has a moderate evaporating solvent system and requires oven drying. Only mild heat should be used since excessive heating will polymerize the coating and inhibit its flux assisting quality. The solvent is evaporated by heating in a circulated air oven at 200-300F for 1-2 minutes. A cool blast of air such as from a fan will set the warm surface and provide a hard, tack free coating

THINNING : Only minimal thinning is required to maintain the proper solids content. ICM-ThinnerRCT should be used for thinning
SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS: Protective solves and goggles are recommended during handling. Adequate ventilation should be provided. Direct heating, spark and flames should be avoided.
